Dennis G. Peters Memorial Symposium

The Department of Chemistry and College of Arts and Sciences will host a memorial symposium in celebration of the life, science, and legacy of Prof. Dennis G. Peters. Prof. Peters was a valued member of the Indiana University community for almost sixty years.
Symposium date: Saturday, April 15, 2023
Location: Indiana University Bloomington (online participation via Zoom will also be possible)

The symposium will be supported by the College of Arts and Sciences, so there will not be a registration fee, however, attendees will be responsible for their own travel expenses, including hotel costs.
Three scholarship and award programs have been established in the Department of Chemistry to honor the legacy of Prof. Peters: the D. G. Peters Undergraduate Scholarship, the D. G. Peters Associate Instructor Award, and the D. G. Peters Chemistry Graduate Student Support Fund. Contributions to these funds can be made through give.myIU.org
